About Harborview
Fourteen years, one obsession: home technology you feel everywhere and see nowhere. This is who we are and how we work.
01 / Our story
Harborview started in 2012 as two engineers and a workbench above a sail loft on Mariners Mile, rewiring a single harbor-front remodel that every other integrator had called impossible. The house worked perfectly. The owner told two neighbors, and we have never advertised since.
Today we are a full design studio and installation team, still in Newport Beach, still doing every drawing, every rack and every service call ourselves. No subcontractors, no hand-offs, no finger-pointing. One team, accountable for everything with our name on it.
Two engineers, one workbench, and a harbor-front remodel nobody else would touch.
We standardized every project on one platform, so every home we build speaks one language.
A working smart home you can stand inside: lighting scenes, theater, audio and shades, all live.
Our own lighting designers now draw every scene and specify every fixture alongside your architect.
From Balboa cottages to Newport Coast estates, one hundred homes running quietly in the background.
A team of fourteen, monitoring hundreds of systems across coastal Orange County, most fixed before anyone notices.
02 / What we believe
If you can see the hardware, we have not finished. Speakers flush in the ceiling, racks out of sight, keypads engraved and aligned to the millwork.
Design, engineering, installation and care, all in-house. When something needs attention, there is exactly one phone number.
Commercial-grade networks, managed power and structured wiring sized for the next fifteen years, not the next demo.
Handover is the halfway point. Remote monitoring, scheduled checkups and a local team keep the house at day-one standard.
03 / How a project runs
Whether it is a new build in Shady Canyon or a remodel in Corona del Mar, every project follows the same path, and you always know exactly where yours stands.
A consultation at the showroom or your home. We ask how you live, not which gadgets you want, and you leave knowing what is possible and roughly what it costs.
Drawings, scene design and a fixed, line-item proposal. Every keypad, every speaker, every dollar on paper before anything is ordered.
We attend site meetings, schedule around your builder and produce coordinated plans for the architect, the electrician and the millworker.
Our own team pulls every cable and terminates every rack, then commissions, tests and walks you through the finished system room by room.
OvrC monitoring from day one, most faults fixed remotely before you notice, and service plans for homes that want scheduled attention.
04 / The people
Everyone who touches your home has been here for years and will still be here when you call in five. That continuity is the product.
Started Harborview in 2012. Still draws every whole-home design and still answers his phone.
Leads lighting and interiors coordination. The reason the keypads always match the millwork.
Builds the racks and the networks. Believes a system that needs rebooting was never finished.
Runs monitoring and service. Most of her fixes happen before the client ever notices a fault.
05 / The showroom
Our Coast Hwy showroom is a working smart home: live lighting scenes, a reference theater, invisible audio and the touchscreens on the wall. Twenty minutes here answers every question a brochure cannot.

Bring your plans, your questions or just your curiosity. The coffee is good and the demo theater is better.
